The Ocean County Health Department is working to make Ocean County residents, schools, businesses, etc. more aware of available resources regarding H1N1. There are 2 websites that contain information for businesses that I am hoping you will pass on to your members. One is at http://nj.gov/heatlh/training/panflu which has modules that can be viewed on pandemic preparedness.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have published an excellent document entitled Preparing for the Flu (Including 2009 H1N1 Flu), A Communication Toolkit for Businesses which can be downloaded from www.flu.gov. The document includes:

Wash your hands with soap and water (make sure soap is available)

STAY HOME if you are sick

Sneeze or cough in your sleeve or with a tissue, throw away the tissue and wash hands with soap and water

Routinely clean surfaces and items that are more likely to have frequent hand contact with a disinfectant that kills viruses

Encourage sick employees at higher risk of complications from flu to contact their health care provider as soon as possible
There are additional suggestions for you business in this document. Please remind your employees to get vaccinated against seasonal flu. The Ocean County Health Department will keep our county residents aware of when and where H1N1 vaccine will be distributed.
