Message From Executive Director Michele EventoffSo much is happening here and I am so excited about all that we have planned for the coming months. We’ve been adding events, especially some smaller ones, to provide you with variety, and the ability to do some “in-depth” networking. Many of our events are being planned to be entertaining as well as covering the business end of things. One of these new events is small group networking lunches. A members’ only program, the concept is a simple one…relaxing, low cost, maximum results. We want you to S.M.I.L.E. and we think that these lunches will have you doing just that. We’re also adding a new program to our many benefits of membership: a package with special offers for new Chamber members from existing members. It’s a “Win-Win!” and the details follow below. There are so many things great things going on here – programs, advertising – and you’re sharing in it. WHAT’S NEW?S.M.I.L.E.!“S.M.I.L.E… Smart Marketing and Inspiring Lively Escapes" We’ve been working to put together a new series of events for you that are “small group” programs. They are in addition to our larger events and are designed to give you strong networking opportunities, perhaps have you try something that you’ve considered but haven’t gotten around to yet, just have some fun, or maybe, all three. If you have a suggestion for a program, please let us know - the program committee has been doing some serious brainstorming and will welcome your input. So smile, we have some great new programs planned for you! It’s a “Win-Win”We keep telling people that so many of our programs are “win-win.” There’s something in it for all parties involved – everyone wins. One of our newest programs this year is New Member Welcome Packages. A little like the program we have to advertise your business to new residents, this will introduce you to businesses that join our chamber. The concept is easy…you offer a discounted service or product to our new members. They win because they’re getting a discount and a service that they need. You win because it’s a nice way to introduce your business to these people and perhaps gain a new customer. You both win, and that’s a great thing! |
