New members: This committee welcomes new members and helps them feel comfortable with our Chamber. Committee members make regularly scheduled phone calls and act as a buddy to our newest members. Being a “buddy” making phone calls, arranging to meet new members at events, sitting with them and introducing them to others.
Existing members: Our members are important to us and we want them to know it! We want to make sure that they are aware of the new services that we offer and the programs that we have to assist them. We also want to know what they need, like, and how we can serve them. The volunteers on this committee make calls to members to “touch base,” establish a personal contact and maintain an ongoing dialogue.
17th Annual! This group chooses the venue and format for the annual event, secures sponsorships and prizes, and plans all of the details of the day as needed.
This committee works to insure that our membership base remains firm, along with steady growth. This year we will work to develop new methods to help the board with their recruitment efforts, in addition to our annual membership drive. This team brainstorms innovative ways to promote the benefits of joining the Chamber and works to keep the importance of growing membership prominent in all of our endeavors. Committee meetings throughout the year.
Programs & Events
Keeping events and programs interesting and varied to appeal to our diverse membership is the mission of this group of creative folks. In addition to developing monthly “smaller” events, this group is responsible for organizing several of our more major annual events: Chamberfest (Fall) and the annual Awards Dinner.
This Committee will help develop a marketing campaign, a celebratory event and help spread the word of our commitment and service for the betterment of the community for the past 60 years!!
