Serving on a committee is a great way to get to know fellow members and get an insider’s view of what’s happening at your Chamber. Your involvement also enables us to provide outstanding services!
Events & Programs
This creative committee plans and implements the year-long calendar of events. Included are Business After Hours programs, the Employee Appreciation Day Luncheon, the Annual Meeting, Lunch and/or Breakfast meetings with specific topics and speakers. The Distinguished Citizens Awards sub committee recognizes many of the true heroes in our community. Each year we recognize an exceptional individual, business and organization for outstanding contributions that make our community a better place to live. This committee will choose the recipients and the program for this special event.
Membership & Ambassadors
13th Annual! This group of volunteers chooses the format for the event, secures sponsorships and prizes and plans all other details of the day as needed.
Our volunteers work to develop ways to increase membership and to provide outreach to potential members. Ambassadors welcome new members at events and make calls to existing members to make certain we are meeting their needs.
Health & Wellness
This committee develops special programs and events to appeal to diverse health and wellness providers and practioners. Events and programs encourage cross referrals through networking and provide timely information relevant to the industry.
This is a new group that is being established for those new to business. The committee members will help chart the course and direction the group will take. They will also set the programs for the year.
We will be publishing an updated street map of Brick Township. Committee members will focus on deciding the design and layout and securing advertising.
Volunteers work with the Chamber’s Educational Foundation to review scholarship applications, select recipients, plan the award ceremony and fundraisers.
Media & Publicity
We provide a large array of services and programs. This group will help spread the word to the larger community through Brick TV, press releases and media contacts.
This group will coordinate with the local high schools to match students with member businesses for the mentoring and job shadowing programs.
